Only include content that helps users complete the transaction:

- “You selected: Full Pass”
- “Competition entries can be added below”
- “Total due today”
- “Need help registering? Contact us”
- concise refund / transfer note if it affects commitment

### What to avoid on Register

This is where a lot of event sites go wrong.



Avoid:

- repeating the full sales pitch
- forcing users to re-read all pass descriptions
- unrelated media or archives
- merch pushes
- lots of cross-promotion
- making users leave the flow to understand total cost



Baymard’s checkout research is blunt on this: **competing content and aggressive promotions inside checkout create friction and abandonment**
