We’ll host competitions, workshops, privates, and social dancing at Danznik Studios, a major hub for the NYC West Coast Swing community.

Ripley-Grier is a famous performing arts rehearsal facility. We’ll use this venue for workshops and private lessons.

- Walking OutdoorsBe prepared to walk between the NYFF hotel and venues several times a day. Temperatures in NYC on Feb 28th typically range from 34°F to 43°F (1°C to 6°C) and are rarely below 21°F (-6°C) or above 56°F (13°C). February weather in New York (Weatherspark).
- AmtrakIf you’re visiting from the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic, you can book an Amtrak train to New York Penn Station, just a few blocks away from the hotel and dance venues. See Map.
- Fly to EWR (Newark)Upon arrival, take the AirTrain then NJ Transit to NY Penn Station.
- Fly to LGA (NYC)Upon arrival, take the Q70 LaGuardia Link bus to Jackson Hts–Roosevelt Av, then the E train to 34 St–Penn Station.
- Fly to JFKUpon arrival, take the Jamaica AirTrain then the E train to the 34 St–Penn Station stop.
- BusThe MTA and various companies offer bus service to Port Authority and various locations in Midtown NYC within blocks of the hotel and dance venues.
- Commuter RailVisitors from NJ, Long Island, and Upstate NY can take local train services, including NJ Transit, LIRR, and MTA Metro-North, to Midtown NYC.
- Subway & PATH Train34 St–Penn Station (A, C, E, 1, 2, 3) is the closest stop to both studios. Also nearby: 34 St–Herald Sq (B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W), Times Sq–42 St (N, Q, R, W, S, 1, 2, 3, 7), and 42 St–Port Authority (A, C, E). From New Jersey, take PATH to 33 St.
- DrivingWe don’t recommend driving into Midtown NYC due to high parking costs ($150-$300 for the weekend if using a garage), but if these aren’t concerns, you can find several garages in the area.
