Registration and Purchases
When you register for the event or order merchandise on flowfest.nyc, we also collect your name, email address, WSDC ID, competition role and level, pass and order details, and billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card number.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity through the following tools:
- PostHog: Collects anonymous usage data such as pages visited, referrers, and browser type. Configured without cookies or persistent identifiers.

How We Share Your Information

Service Providers
- Brevo: We use Brevo as our email marketing platform. When you opt in to our newsletter, your name, email address, and WSDC level are transferred to Brevo to send you updates and communications.
- Stripe: We use Stripe for payment processing.
- Bunny: We use Bunny to host and distribute event photos and videos.
- WP Engine and Cloudflare: WP Engine hosts this website and Cloudflare delivers it. Both process the technical data needed to serve pages and keep the site secure, such as your IP address and browser type.
- Freshdesk: Messages sent through our contact form are processed in Freshdesk, our support ticketing platform.
- Net2Order: If you register for our event through swingdancer.org, your registration and payment information is processed by Net2Order, which provides competition scoring software (Event Express Pro) and maintains the swingdancer.org website.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Event Registration and Payment Processing
Before the event, event registration and payment processing occurs on flowfest.nyc (payment processing by Stripe). On-site, registration happens on swingdancer.org, a separate website maintained by Net2Order. When you register for passes and add-ons while on-site at New York Flow Festival, you will be directed to swingdancer.org, where Net2Order’s privacy policy and terms of service apply. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy before completing your registration.
Photography and Video
We photograph and video record attendees at our events for promotional and documentation purposes. By attending our events, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed or recorded. This disclosure is also included in our liability waiver. If you have concerns about being photographed or recorded, please contact us.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our analytics tool (PostHog) runs without cookies or persistent identifiers. The only cookies set are those strictly necessary for site operation. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals: when your browser sends one, analytics capture is switched off for that visit.
